Akkineni Nagarjuna's Pongal release Soggade Chinni Nayana (SGS) has celebrated the audio launch in a grand yet innovative way in Hyderabad on Friday. The film directed by debutant Kalyan Krishna Kurasala is touted to be a family-thriller and also features Ramya Krishna, Lavanya Tripathi, Hamasa Nandini and Anasuya in important roles. The film will see Nagarjuna in dual role after a long time.

Veteran director K Raghavendra Rao, Amala Akkineni, Naga Suseela, Akhil, Naga Chaitayna, Sumanth, Sushanth, Vamsi Paidipally and Sunil Narang have graced the event.

The audio CD was unveiled by K Raghavendra Rao and handed over the first copy to Nagarjuna.

Addressing the gathering, Nagarjuna said, “It's been a while we made a film under Annapurna Studios banner. The last film was Manam which has hit the screens in summer, 2014. Music director Anup Rubens is the Bangarraju of our film. He gave wonderful music. After Manam, I wanted to act in a good film which will have universal appeal and that's why I worked for Soggade Chinni Nayana. The film is set in rustic backdrop and will see me sporting a dhoti. The entertainment in Soggade Chinni Nayana is akin to Hello Brother. The film is a perfect entertainer for this Pongal. I am always open to work with new comers. Director Kalyan Krishna did a fantastic job. We have decided to release the film on January 15. I am sure we have a winner in hand."

Nagarjuna with his leading ladies has performed live trailer release of the film amidst huge cheer from his fans.
