TDP supremo and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has said that his party is with the Centre on the revocation of the controversial Article 370.

"Telugu Desam Party supports the Union Government as it seeks to repeal Article 370. I pray for the peace and prosperity of the people of Jammu & Kashmir," CBN today tweeted out.

Inside the Parliament, BJD, Bahujan Samaj Party of Mayawati, AIADMK, YSRCP, Shiv Sena and others have supported Union Home Minister Amit Shah's resolution to revoke the Article. However, SP, JDU and a few other regional parties have opposed.

The Congress party, too, has certain complaints. Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh today said, "The Constitution of India has been rewritten without following any legal provisions. Such a historic decision should not have been taken and pushed through in this arbitrary manner."
