It's known that Mahesh Babu is playing the role of a soldier in his upcoming 'Sarileru Neekevvaru'. The film has been shot since early July in Kashmir.

The news is that director Anil Ravipudi today revealed the name of the Superstar's character in the movie. "Superstar @urstrulymahesh garu turns into Major Ajay Krishna for #SarileruNeekevvaru! #sankranthi2020 Operation started in Kashmir," the 'F2' director said. The name Ajay has a very positive ring to it, while Krishna strikes an instant chord with the audience not only because it is the name of a God who spearheaded a Dharmic war but is also the name of Mahesh's father, the legendary Krishna.

Starring Rashmika Mandanna and yesteryear heroine Vijayashanthi in other key roles, this one has music by Devi Sri Prasad. It's scheduled to release for the coming Sankranthi.
