Ever since the start of his career in early 80s, Satish Kaushik has done impressive work in several Bollywood flicks as an actor, filmmaker as well as a screenwriter. Now he's all set to deliver another amazing performance in the upcoming web show 'Bloody Brothers' which also stars Jaideep Ahlawat and Zeeshan Ayyub.
During a recent chat with news outlet IANS, Kaushik talked about how Bollywood and its way of working have changed from his initial days to present. He stated, "I am from the generation of actors who used to act and write only because ‘mazaa aa raha hai!’. Our training in NSD taught us to be serious and passionate about our craft. We were hungry. We didn’t have food to eat, forget about living a luxurious life…but when you watch ‘Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro’, you won’t know how we made the film!"
However, Satish believes that one should keep adapting with time in order to grow and learn new things. He said, "As an audience, you just get the laughter! We never worked for money but for the love of acting. Having said that, this is a new generation and I love working with these new kids. I genuinely believe that if I want to stay relevant with time, I should collaborate more with a new mind, new talent and keep learning the new language of entertainment.”
'Bloody Brothers' is set to release on March 18 exclusively on Zee5.
