Actress Kangana Ranaut has always been a huge supporter of South Indian cinema and its superstars. She often sings praises of actors like Allu Arjun, Yash, Samantha etc on her Instagram and talks about how they are more humble and professional than most of the Bollywood stars. Hence it isn't surprising that Kangana has a unique point of view regarding the ongoing Bollywood vs South debate as well.
Instead of looking at regional industries as competition, Kangana considers them as parts of same entity i.e, Indian cinema. She even believes that all Indian film industries should work in cohesion with each other to prevent Hollywood from taking over.
According to a recent report in ETimes, the actress said, "What we have to do collectively is to fight against Hollywood and save our screens from international films because the American film industry has single-handedly destroyed the German, Italian, French, and English film industries. We have to not fight among ourselves, be it south film industries like Kannada, Tamil Telugu or Punjabi film industry, we have to encourage them all."
On the work front, Kangana is currently awaiting the release of her highly anticipated action thriller 'Dhaakad' which is set to release on 20th of May.
