Vivek Oberoi has said that the producers of 'PM Narendra Modi' lost crores of rupees when the Election Commission stalled the release of the biopic on the night of April 10.
"The film was supposed to hit the screens on April 11. We had parcelled out the prints, etc worldwide. At the last moment, the EC decided that the biopic shouldn't be released. By then, we had spent crores of rupees on publicity and other promotions. Who will give us back that money?" Vivek, who plays Modi in the movie, said today.
The political drama, which is cinematic and presents a very dramatized version of Modi's life, will release tomorrow (May 24).
