"We just hope that the positives are more than the negatives." - Alia Bhatt on 'Brahmastra'

The audience and critics' reception for Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor starrer 'Brahmastra' has been largely positive but people have also pointed out some flaws which sort of stick out in an otherwise decent film. Most criticised aspects of the film were cheesy dialogues and thinly written character of Alia Bhatt, who is one of the finest actresses of this generation.
During a recent promotional event, Alia addressed these issues and expressed hope that positives of the film will outweigh its negatives. The actress stated, This life, we don’t know if there is another life or not, but we have this life. We have 2 options, we can either be positive and focus on that or be negative. And recently, whenever anyone asks us a negative question, we genuinely want to say with all of our consensus that we are not thinking about it.
Alia added, Criticism, opinion, feedback, that is the audience’s right. So the reviews that you are talking about, that is their opinion. We just hope that the positives are more than the negatives. After the release of the film, it looks like it is more on the positive side otherwise it would not have done so well at the box office.
