Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu's visit to New Delhi to meet with Rahul Gandhi generated good vibes. After the meet, both the leaders expressed confidence in fighting the BJP.
"We had a very good meeting, the gist was that we have to defend democracy and future of the country. So we are coming together to work, all opposition forces must unite," said Rahul Gandhi, speaking to the press.
The TDP supremo echoed a similar sentiment. "We are coming together to save the nation. We have to forget the past, now it is a democratic compulsion to unite. All opposition needs to be one," Naidu thundered in his mellowed style.
Earlier in the day, Naidu met with Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad in Delhi. It was an unscheduled meeting which gave rise to some speculations.
