Actor John Abraham is all set for the release of his upcoming sci-fi action thriller 'Attack' where he'll be seen playing the role of a super soldier. The film has a considerable hype around it and the promotional material also looks quite promising. However, the only thing that might seem concerning is that 'Attack' is going to release just a week after SS Rajamauli's highly anticipated film 'RRR'.
During the trailer launch event for 'Attack', John addressed this issue and expressed confidence that 'Attack' won't be a second fiddle to Rajamauli's 'RRR'. He stated, "We've been promised a certain number of screen, we have been assured by our partners that we will get good screening. I have a lot of respect for Rajamouli sir and his kind of cinema, but we also have a lot of respect for what we have done. We are definitely not number two to anyone."
John also shared that makers of 'Attack' have the vision to turn the film into a franchise. He said, "We have a script ready, but we can't comment on when we want to get going with it. You can decide to make a part two only when your studio partner is onboard. Jayanti bhai said let's first sign the sequel and then release part one. That was his level of confidence."
'Attack' is going to hit the theatres on April 1 while 'RRR' will release on 25th of this month.
