The much-awaited controversial film Deepa Mehta's Water will finally be screened in India at the MAMI.

The film was a huge success in Canada. The movie took five years to be completed. Director Deepa Mehta is now more satisfied and happy that she casted John Abraham and Lisa Ray for the film.

Deepa has also signed John for her next movie 'Komagata Maru' which is based on a historical incident in 1914 that pitted India against the Canadian bureaucracy. Opposite John is Seema Biswas.
