On Thursday, the trailer of Aarkkariyam starring Biju Menon, Sharafudheen, Sanu John Varughese and Parvathy Thiruvothu in the lead has been released online. The trailer was launched by actors Suresh Gopi, Sai Pallavi and Nivin Pauly through their official social media handles.

“It gives me great pleasure to launch the trailer of Aarkkariyam Movie. My best wishes to Biju Menon, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Sharaf U Dheen, Sanu John Varughese, and the entire team!” Suresh Gopi wrote while launching the trailer.

Going by the trailer, the movie is set during the time of coronavirus pandemic and the subsequent lockdown. The plot revolves around Biju Menon's oldage character and promises to be a feel-good family drama.

Slated for theatrical release on April 3, the movie is directed by cinematographer Sanu John Varughese. The movie's cinematography is by G Srinivas Reddy and music by Neha Nair- Yakzan Gary Pereira duo. Editing is by filmmaker Mahesh Narayanan. Produced by Aashiq Abu's OPM Dream Mill and Santhosh T Kuruvilla’s Moonshot Entertainment, the movie is scripted by Sanu John Varughese, Rajesh Ravi, and Arun Janardhanan.
