Rani Mukerji, who is in Australia to attend the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IIFM) has hoisted the Indian National Flag today at the Federation Square in Melbourne in the presence of Indian and Australian students, Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews and IFFM director Mitu Lange. She, along with ‘Sanju’ director Rajkumar Hirani and Vicky Kaushal had kickstarted the festival by attending a press conference on Friday.
Rani looked stunning in a beautiful floral print chiffon saree with a matching chiffon shawl which she paired up with a pearl necklace. In the video, she can be seen hoisting the Indian flag shouting ‘Jai Hind’ which was followed up by 'Bharat Mata ki Jai' and then the Indian National Anthem. This video is not to be missed! IFFM will also screen Rani’s latest film ‘Hichki' where she is seen playing a teacher who suffers from Tourette syndrome, a neurological disorder characterized by repetitive, stereotyped, involuntary movements. This film, which had received good reviews, was the actress’ comeback to the industry after giving birth to her daughter, Adira.
