Watch out for Anushka's Chandramukhi

Seems that Chandramukhi-2 is going to be a movie to watch out for since Day One. It is yet to commence its shooting, but the movie has garnered enough attention. After Venkatesh accepted to do the role of the main lead in the Telugu version, it is learnt that P Vasu is considering Anushka for the role of Chandramukhi.

After Arundhathi and Panchakshari (yet-to-be-released), it seems that Chandramukhi is a feather in her cap. The popular actress has reportedly given a nod to act in the film.

To be produced by Bellamkonda Suresh, the film will be based on Aptha Rakshaka, the Kannada blockbuster and last movie of Vishnuvardhan. The film took the Box Office by storm and collected a whopping Rs. 40 crores, unheard of in the Kannada film market.

Now, Anushka will be doing the role played by Vimala Raman in the original.
