The wait is finally over, as the trailer of Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor starrer ‘2 States’ is now out.

The trailer reveals great incredible chemistry between the lead couple as they are seen romancing on-campus, while the second half shows their love being put to the test. While Arjun as Krish looks much more toned down and simple avatar compared to his earlier films, Alia is cute and elegant as bubbly Ananya Swaminathan. Going by her earlier two films - a sexy student in ‘Student of the Year’ and bindass Veera in ‘Highway’ Alia looks quite refreshing and beautiful as south Indian kudi, dressed in bright ethnic attires. Both Arjun and Alia complement each other quite well and their chemistry has a spark. All the whole the movie looks promising.

A UTV Motion Pictures presentation, and a Sajid Nadiadwala & Karan Johar production, ‘2 States’ has been directed by Abhishek Varman and also stars Ronit Roy, Amrita Singh, Revathy and Ankit Chitral.

The film is based on Chetan Bhagat’s best-selling novel 2 States, and is slated to release on 18th April, 2014.
