"Facts in media don't appear to be consistent. She never drank hard liquor. How did it enter her system? What happened to CCTV footage? Doctors suddenly appeared before the media and said she died of heart failure," firebrand BJP leader Subramanian Swamy told a news agency two days after the death of legendary actress Sridevi in February.
He almost said that the Underworld may be involved in her death, suggesting she was murdered! It has taken almost three months for the 'D' gang angle to make a comeback regarding Sridevi's untimely death. Former ACP Ved Bhushan is on record stating that Sridevi died at a hotel co-owned by Dawood Ibrahim. He recently opined that it could be a "planned murder".
As is known, recently, a petitioner argued in his petition filed in the Supreme Court that the late actress "had a Rs. 240 crore insurance policy in her name in Oman". He further said that the "money could be released only if she died in UAE."
