Superstar Shahrukh Khan is known for his larger than life romantic hero image in Bollywood but in his upcoming film 'Pathan', he will be seen in an all out action packed avatar. Atlee's film 'Jawaan' will also feature SRK as a man of action. Apart from some exceptions like 'Don' and 'Ra One', Shahrukh has largely played either romantic to dramatic roles in his career and now he aspires to do Mission Impossible type action movies.

SRK told Deadline, "I’ve never done an action film, I’ve done really sweet love stories, I’ve done some social dramas, I’ve done some bad guys, but nobody was taking me for action. I’m 57 years old, and I thought for the next years I have to do action films, I want to do Mission Impossible-ish kind of films. I want to do over-the-top kind of action films.”

Apart from 'Jawan' and 'Pathan', Shahrukh will also be seen in the film 'Dunki' which will be helmed by Rajkumar Hirani. Recently he wrapped up a schedule of the same in Saudi Arabia and soon after that, he was also seen performing Umrah at holy place of Mecca.
