Wannabe US President Tulsi Gabbard sues Google

Tulsi Gabbard, who is in the race to become the President of the US as a Democratic nominee, has sued Google. "My Google Ads account was suspended by the company without a warning," she said.

She became a frontrunner after a Democratic debate in June. Immediately, she became the "most-searched candidate". In no time, Tulsi decided to cash in on her popularity by seeking funds through Google Ads. With the suspension of her account, she automatically lost on the opportunity to do so.

The suspension of the account is seen by Tulsi as a misuse by Google of its "control over online political speech to silence me".

While Google has said that the Ads account was suspended automatically to "protect consumers from fraud" (after some "unusual activity" was discovered), Tulsi's lawsuit doesn't buy into the explanation.
