Yes it may come as a stunner but according to BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN writer, the veteran Telugu writer, KV Vijayendra Prasad, has disclosed in an interview that he had approached several top actors for BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN including Rajinikanth and Aamir Khan.
Incidentally readers would be surprised to know that KV Vijayendra Prasad is also the writer of the Mega Epic and this year`s Biggest Box Officer Grosser SS Rajamouli-directed BAAHUBALI,
Elated at the super success of both his films viz. BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN and BAAHUBALI, KVV Prasad, revealed, "Few know that BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN is co-produced by Salman Khan and Kannada producer Rockline Venkatesh but initially it was just Rockline Venkatesh, who had approved my subject and nodded to produce the film."
He informed, "During our hunt for the lead hero we had approached several top actors from Bollywood to South like Rajinikanth, Puneeth Rajkumar, Allu Arjun and even Aamir Khan."
Speaking about Aamir Khan, Prasad said, "When we narrated the script to Aamir Khan he was bowled out by the emotional content of the subject and was keen to be part of the film but alas his busy schedules compelled him to drop out from the project. Later when I narrated the script to film director Kabir Khan, he too was overwhelmed by the subject and recommended me to approach Salman Khan."
"When I narrated the subject to Salman Khan, he straight away fell in love with the poignant subject of brotherhood between India and Pakistan. He not gave his nod on the spot but also promised to co-produce the film," added Prasad.
Now that BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN is a super hit and people are going gaga over Salman Khan but the DABANGG actor has publically acknowledged KVV Prasad as the True Hero` of the film.
At a press conference Salman Khan said, "The credit for BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN'S success goes to the story writer, KVV Prasad, who is the True Hero."
It may be noted that KVV Prasad has multiple hits to his credits as writer like Rowdy Rathore, Rajanna, Arthanghi, Sri Krishna, Jaguar etc.
