'MOKK' gets a release date and a 'Theri' & 'Kabali' connection

'Meendum Oru Kadhal Kadhai' the Tamil remake of Malayalam super hit romantic entertainer 'Thattathin Marayathu' initially scheduled to hit the screens last week was postponed at the last moment. Now the makers have officially locked August 26 to release the film in theaters.

'MOKK' has been directed by Mithran Jawahar and it stars debutant Walter Philip and Isha Talwar in lead roles. The film has acquired a clean U certificate from Censor board and it has the musical score of G.V.Prakash Kumar.

The film will be distributed by Kalaipuli Films of Kalaipuli.S.Thanu. SPI Cinemas who released Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Kabali' and Ilayathalapathy Vijay's 'Theri' in Chennai has acquired the theatrical release rights of 'MOKK' in Chennai and Chengalpet from Thanu.
