Megastar Chiranjeevi and Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja are dominating the box office this season. The two heroes and their director Bobby Kolli are smiling their way to glory, thanks to their film 'Waltair Veerayya' grossing $2 million in the US.
Mythri Movie Makers on Thursday announced that the mass action entertainer is "creating a tsunami of collections at the box office". The makers also claimed that the film is poised to emerge as the "highest-grossing movie for both actors at the end of its theatrical run."
'Khaidi No. 150' grossed $2.4 million and 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy' grossed $2.6 million earlier. The former was a remake, but it had so much going for it thanks to its status of being Chiru's comeback movie. The latter worked because it took the form of a costume drama although it was a dramatized biopic.
It has to be seen whether 'WV' can cross the aforementioned films' gross in the US.
