Normally for a biggie, one starts witnessing the movie's promotion months in advance. And by promotion we mean the previews, press releases, media hype, interviews, contests and the works.

But surprisingly, in the case of Aamir Khan's 'Mangal Pandey', which is touted to release on 12th August, there hasn't been an intensive promotion stream flowing in, barring a mention here or there.

Music of the film is not yet out, which is again a surprise as the trend is to have the music release at least 6 weeks before the movie release.

The short theatrical promo shown a few months back (with Aamir Khan walking in shackles) created quite a stir, but that has subsided off late.

But one is sure that the 'perfectionist actor' Aamir Khan and prolific producer Bobby Bedi have some master plan in mind that they may be unveiling soon.

After all this is not a team that would just be waiting for things to happen. And when the plan unleashes, it is guaranteed to be an event to watch out for! Next 6 weeks should be the ones to watch out for 'Mangal Pandey'
