The three days hectic meeting of producer and cinema workers sector has finally ended on Wednesday night in Bengaluru.

For every one crore investment on the film from May 1 2011 the Kannada film producer has to shell down 10 percent extra. That means for Rs.1 crore Rs.10 lakhs is the hike in the remuneration of Kannada Film Workers Federation members.

In the first round of discussion the Kannada Film Producers Association declined to hike the once in three years hike for cinema workers all the 20 plus sectors. It has identified some of the sectors not feasible for the hike but the discussions later on set aside the difference of opinions.

The biggest venture on floor is Rs.10 crores ‘Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna’ starring challenging star Darshan, Nikitha and Dr Jayaprada will be affected very much. What is fortunate thing is that the film has already completed 50 percent of shooting. For the remaining 50 percent shoot only the producer Anand Appugol is affected.
