Maheshbabu-Samanta starrer 'Dookudu' is currently busy in canning an item number involving Maheshbabu and Parvati Melton and the shooting is in progress at a special set erected in Ramoji Film City.

The post-production works are also in progress simultaneously. Director Sreenu Vytla determined to complete all the shooting and post-production formalities as early as possible and get the first copy ready by September 18 and present the film to the Censor Board for certification on September 19.

Producers Anil Sunkara, Gopinath Achanta and Ram Achanta are getting ready to release the film on September 23 at any cost with a highest number of prints.

Thaman scored music for the movie and the audio is getting a positive response.
