Pulimurugan is creating waves in box office and setting new records. Meanwhile the director of the film is unhappy these days. The reason for his agony is that the main action scenes of the film are being circulated through social media like whatsapp. Some people have shot this in their mobile phones and started circulating it in social media. This has irked the director.

Through his Facebook page he made ardent appeal to all those involved regarding this. He requested not to share these clips anymore, as the scenes are the hard work of many people. The film was shot in deep wood which were reached with great difficulty after walking for miles carrying heavy equipments.

The director also appealed to all to watch this movie in the theatre.
