Ram Gopal Varma, a prominent filmmaker who has recently aligned himself with the ruling YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh and is an ardent supporter of Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, is gearing up to deliver two political entertainers: 'Vyooham' and 'Sapatham.'
The cast of these films includes Ajmal Amir, Manasa Radhakrishnan, Dhananjay Prabhune, Surabhi Prabhavati, Rekha Nirosha, Vasu Inturi, Kota Jayaram, and Elina Tuteja, each contributing to key roles. The cinematography is skillfully managed by Sajeesh Rajendraan, while the editing is expertly taken care of by Manish Thakur.
While the first look of the film initially piqued some interest, it's the recently released trailer that has been making waves. 'Vyooham' is centered around the challenges faced by Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy in the aftermath of the untimely demise of his father, the late YS Rajasekhar Reddy, in a helicopter crash. The trailer provides a glimpse into how the Congress high command opposed Jagan's ascent to the Chief Minister's chair and how he was instructed to halt the Odarpu Yatra, which was meant to console those who had lost their lives after the shock of YSR's passing.
The trailer also sheds light on how Jagan overcame the conspiracies and obstacles created by his political opponent, Chandra Babu Naidu. In the film, Ajmal Amir and Manasa portray the roles of Jagan and his wife, Bharathi, while Dhananjay Prabhune assumes the character of Chandrababu Naidu. The trailer certainly showcases moments that many of us have witnessed in the news numerous times.
However, it's fair to say that the 'Vyooham' trailer doesn't bring any particularly novel or extraordinary elements to the table, and it may not pique the curiosity of the audience as much as expected. If there's one aspect worth discussing, it's the incorporation of the remix of the popular song 'Ravali Jagan, Kavali Jagan.' The trailer also takes sharp shots at Chandra Babu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan, along with highlighting the skills development scam.
Overall, while the trailer offers a glimpse into the political drama, it may not be deemed groundbreaking or highly innovative in its portrayal of real-life events and political figures.
