Though the exhibitors associations has agreed to restart screening Malayalam films from the 25th of this month, the makers of the super star movies 'Venicile Vyapari' and 'Oru marubhoomikkatha' prefers to present their movies only for the next Christmas season. As the Sabarimala seasons and semester exams are on, the producers believe that their movies will fare better only if presented during the Christmas season which will have a school leave of ten days.

As per the early agreement arrived, 'Oru Marubhoomikatha'(Arabeem Ottakavaum Madhavan Nairaum)will be on theatres only by the 16th of December while Mammotty's 'Venicile Vyapari' will get released only by the 23rd of December. The distributors of the movies, Seven Arts and Murali films have informed the theatres to get ready for the said dates.

And in the three weeks in between, movies from lesser stars like 'Beautiful', 'Naayika' and 'Swapna Sanchari' will get into the theatres which are not screening any Malayalam films for the last three weeks.
