Anjali is acting in a horror comedy titled, 'Geethanjali'. Harshavardhan Rane, Srinivasa Reddy, Brahmanandam, Rao Ramesh etc acted in the crucial roles. Kona Venkat is presenting the film and M.V.V.Satyanarayana is producing it on M.V.V.Cinema banner.

Praveen Lakkaraju and Srijo are the music directors and the audio of this film has been launched in Hyderabad.

Gopichand, V.V.Vinayak, Dil Raju, Bellamkonda Suresh, Meher Ramesh, Srivas, Manchu Lakshmi, Prakash Raj, Veeru Potla, Kona Venkat, Brahmanandam, Anjali, Harshavardhan Rane etc have attended the event.

V.V.Vinayak, Manchu Lakshmi and Gopichand launched the audio and Bapatla M.L.A. Kona Raghupathi received the first copy.

Anjali says, "'Geethanjali' is a very special film for me and I am sure it will turn out to be a mile stone in my career. Every one has worked very hard for this movie. Rajkiran has done a fantastic job as a director. Every one has worked hard for this movie and we are looking forward for the release"

V.V.Vinayak says, "I know the story of 'Geethanjali'. What happens to Brahmanandam, who doesn't believe in Ghosts, when he sees a ghost is the story of this film. This horror comedy film will sure entertain the audiences. I hope this film turns out to be a big hit".

Kona Venkat says, "I've penned nearly 45 stories and when Rajkiran and Srinivasa Reddy narrated this story to me, I was surprised with the content and thought why I didn't get this idea. Movies will not be successful because of huge budget. Only movies made with good ideas will be received well. This is a very good horror film and we have mixed comedy to it. We wouldn't have done this movie if Anjali has not signed as the female lead. Brahmanandam played a key role in this movie. Praveen Lakkaraju and Srijo have provided very good music. We will release the movie on August 8th and we hope our film will get a good response".

Rajkiran says, "I am very thankful to Kona Venkat sir for supporting me so much in making this film. Srinivasa Reddy introduced me to him. Anjali, Brahmanandam and everyone has acted very well in this movie and I hope this film will become a good hit".
