VVC acknowledges his lady love in LRM

Guess whose presence in Vidhu Vinod Chopra's life was acknowledged in his latest film 'Lage Raho Munnabhai'? None other than his wife Anupama Chopra.

A principal correspondent with India Today, Anupama Chopra is married to Vidhu Vinod Chopra and apart from her regular columns with the weekly, she has also written numerous books on Bollywood, most notably being 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' and 'Sholay: The Making of a Classic'. Her affection for Shahrukh Khan, the star and the actor, is world known while she could be considered as the greatest fan of 'Sholay'.

This is the reason why in one of the crucial scenes of LRM when Munnabhai is finding hard to gain knowledge about Gandhiji, Circuit suggests him to interest term himself as a Bollywood expert rather than a history professor since for any queries there is always Anupama to lend support, especially if they were about SRK or Sholay!

Subtle, yet coming across quite well. That's the power of this small scene, just like rest of the film!

SRK Plays Games With People

Shahrukh Khan is looking hot in those green silhouettes of ‘Don’ Promos. I’ve been saying it repeatedly that an SRK with mean streak looks more desirable than a weakling. Well, more on that debate some other day. The latest dope on the shooting of ‘Don’ is Shahrukh’s obsession with Play-stations. Apparently, he had set up an entire area in his hotel room in Malaysia for PS2 Stations.

When 'Lagaan' released, Gracy Singh was slotted as a female who could only do a village belle/simple girl roles. The same was said immediately for Vidya Balan who was quite impressive in 'Parineeta' and looked like a million bucks but was nevertheless slotted as an actress who could only act in films with a traditional flavor.
