After successfully completing a major portion of their shooting in USA, the cast and crew of Vettaiyadu Vilaiyadu sans Kamal Haasan returned Chennai a couple of days back.

Kamal, Jyothika , director Gowtham Menon among others involved in the movie had been camping in the US for about a month.

A couple of songs, action sequences and a major portion of the talkie were shot in the USA.

The whole crew sans Kamal Haasan returned, while the actor is expected to stay put for a week there before he returns. Kamal may be staying back to scout for technical know-how in make-up for his next movie Dasavatharam.

The rest of the movie would be shot in Chennai, Madurai and its adjoining areas.

The movie is currently produced by Seventh Channel Manickam Narayanan and has musical score by Harris Jeyaraj.
