Former IPS officer VV Lakshmi Narayana, often referred to as JD Lakshmi Narayana (because he was a CBI Joint Director), has quit the Jana Sena Party. In an open letter to party chief Pawan Kalyan, he said on Thursday that he is unhappy over the supremo doing films.
"You had said that you will dedicate your life to politics. By going back to doing movies, you have shown that you are not strong in your thinking," Lakshmi Narayana has said in his resignation letter.
The talented politician, known for his uprightness, contested as Vizag MP on Jana Sena ticket in 2019 and lost. "I thank each and every Jana Sena worker who stood with me. I thank all my voters. I will be very much available to workers and common citizens even after quitting the party," Lakshmi Narayana added.
