Director Gautham Vasudev Menon had made his debut in the year 2001 with the superhit movie Minnale starring Madhavan and Reema Sen, and has since then directed many superhit movies like Kaaka Kaaka, Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu, Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya and Yennai Arindhaal.

As the director steps into his 20th year in films, a special musical event has been planned to celebrate Gautham Vasudev Menon's music, and celebrities have been wishing Gautham for the event. The latest to wish him is Trisha, who has acted in Gautham's Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya and Yennai Arindhaal.

"50% of the audience come to Gautham's films for the music itself, as they know Gautham's films have a certain magic as far as music is concerned. Both the movies I've did with him - Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya and Yennai Arindhaal have very good music. Being a love story, Vtv was extra special as it had the dynamic combination of GVM and AR Rahman, and the music carried the movie to a different level. Some have a magical ear to figure what's good music and what works for a certain scene, and Gautham has a special musical bone in him and he gets the best from any music director" said Trisha, who wished Gautham for the show which is planned in Singapore on February 2.
