For the fourth time in two years V Ravichandran is turning father figure on silver screen. In Paramashiva Kannada film he was both father and son, in Maanikya` he was father to Kichcha Sudeep, in Drishya` he was father of two children with Navya Nayar as wife. He is playing the role of 61 years in Apoorva` with 19 years Apoorva in the key role.

The latest is that V Ravichandran has agreed to play father to golden star Ganesh in Mungaru Male 2` a sequel to block buster cinema from successful director Shashank. Director Shashank makes it clear that the film Mungaru Male 2` has no relevance or reference to Mungaru Male` of 2006. It is stylish and youthful according to him.
