The Vishwa Kannada Sammelana at London concluded on Deepavali festival day at Mermaid Hall in Hammersmith Town in the presence of top stars of Kannada cinema industry Ambarish, Sumalatha, Hamsalekha, Ramya, Dr Srinath, Roopa Iyer of Kannada cinema in a grand style.

"Vishwa Kannada Sammelana Europe -2011" a spectacular podium for deliberation amongst renowned Poets, Writers, Farmers, Artists, Social reformers, Journalists, Sports personalities, Industrialists, Politicians and Non-Resident Kannadigas for the development of Karnataka State.

The festival organized by Sangama in association with Indian Classic Arts was attended by Europe, Dubai and America residing Kannadigas.

The upper house leader DH Shankaramurthy, DK Shivakumar, legislator Shivananda Nayak and others took part from the political side. Poet Doddarange Gowda, Sangama President Dwarakanath Shastri read out the messages from Britain queen, Britain Prime Minister and Karnataka chief minister.

The two days extravaganza with events, exhibitions, film shows, literature and poetry symposia, discussion panels, sports, arts, culture and other activities from various parts the world promoting Karnataka.

India Classical Arts Roopa Iyer, danseuse and director of 'Mukhaputa' Kannada film that was recognized at the international level was key person with SANGAMA in organizing the festival.
