VKP bags six International awards

The ad film maker turned film director V K Prakash's new movie ‘Phir Kabhi’ has bagged six awards at the Los Angeles Reel Film Festival (LARFF). The movie scripted by M Sindhuraj bagged awards for the best narrative feature of the year, apart from the big awards for the best director and best scriptwriter.

The other awards for the movie include best costumes to Bhanu Athaiya, best music to Shanthanu Moithra and Rajath Dholakia, and the award for production design went to Nitin Desai and Anjan Ghosh. The movie features Mithun Chakravarthy, Mamo Chakravarthy, Simple Kapadia and Rati Agnihotri in the lead roles.

V K Prakash’s earlier films in Malayalam are Punaradhivasam, Police, Moonnamathoral, Mullavalliyum Thenmavum, Positive and the latest hit with Kunchakko Boban and Jayasuriya ‘Gulumaal’.
