Police grill Chithra’s husband over her death CCTV footage from hotel seized

More than twenty-four hours after popular actress Chithra was found dead hanging in a star hotel near Chennai the question of whether it was a suicide or murder is still not answered.  Hemanth Kumar the husband of Chithra appeared at the Nazerethpet police station near Chennai where he and his relatives are being grilled for the second day.

Investigators have called for the CCTV footage from the star hotel where Chitha and Hemanth were staying from December 4th till her death.   Efforts are on to trace whoever visited the couple during these days and the staff and management of the hotel too have been summoned for questioning.

Earlier friends of Chithra have been giving interviews stating that she being a psychology student used to counsel people against suicide and no way she would have done it herself and foul play is suspected.
