Vivekh's sudden meeting with O.Panneerselvam

Actor Vivekh met Chief Minister O.Panneerselvam to urge his Government to take drastic measures to replant trees after the cyclone Vardah wreaked havoc on the city uprooting 75 percent of the tree wealth.

Vivekh has planted millions of saplings after being adviced by the late President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. He has suggested to OPS that planting of foreign trees is not suitable to our soil and has said that Mango, Jack fruit and Fig trees are the best to plant as none of theme were uprooted by Vardah.
