Buzz is that Vivek Oberoi has been approached by a leading history channel to anchor special show that address several issues of the girl child.

As per reports, the 10 episode show will revolve around different issues the girl child in India faces today including child marriage, sex rackets and child abuse. Given that Vivek has been actively involved in shedding light on these issues and has even traveled to remote corners of the country for these causes, the channel is also keen on have the actor`s inputs in the episodes and for him to creatively participate in its scripting.

While Vivek is very keen to do the show, they are still in discussions and a formal announcement will be made soon.

The actor and philanthropist has always been passionate about several causes, especially the cause of the girl child and even opened his own NGO Devi, a foundation that looks after underprivileged girls and their education. Meanwhile on movie front, Vivek will be seen on big screens with 'Bank Chor' and 'Great Grand Mast'.
