It`s no news that Vivek Oberoi has bagged Sanjay Gupta`s next big budget venture Mumbai Saga`. Vivek, who will be working again with the filmmaker post Shootout At Lokhandwala`, is reported to be essaying a cop in this latest thriller.

According to sources, Vivek will be playing a role inspired by a senior Mumbai Police inspector and encounter specialist Vijay Salaskar who was killed in 26/11 attacks. He was awarded Ashoka Chakra posthumously. Interesting buzz is that Vivek will cut his hair and grow moustache to look the part.

Mumbai Saga` is slated to go on floor in September and should hit the big screens in mid 2015.
