The first film of career is always a special moment for an actor. It carries a lot of emotional weight and memories related to it stay fresh for a long time. Actor Vivek Oberoi, who made his Bollywood debut back in 2002, recently recalled an interesting anecdote about the first time he faced a camera. The film was Ram Gopal Varma's 'Company' which starred Ajay Devgan in the lead.
Recalling the incident, Vivek told The Indian Express, "When I got the part, I remember my first scene was with Ajay Devgn. He was such a big star. I was a huge fan of him.” Soon after the shoot began, Vivek noticed that RGV was interacting with all the actors except him and apparently the youngster was quite demoralised by it.
Vivek shared, "By the time it was lunch break, I was petrified and demoralised. I was like, ‘What if he throws me out? Mera career shuru hone se pehle hi khatam na hojaye kahin.’ I couldn’t eat. I was standing there and almost like it happens in the movies, a hand landed on my shoulder. When I turned around, it was RGV. He looked into my eyes and said, ‘If I don’t like what you are doing, I will tell you. If I don’t tell you anything it means I like what you are doing.’ I was in so much joy after that moment because he is the man who made incredible films like Satya, Rangeela and Shiva.”
