Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi who had started as a romantic hero, later played action hero roles and had then played villain in several movies. He was seen as the villain in Ajith's Vivegam, Ramcharan's villain in Telugu movie Vinaya Vidheya Rama and in Mohanlal's Lucifer.

He ha last played the lead role in the biopic of Indian prime Minister Narendra Modi, titled as PM Narendra Modi, and now the actor is all set to start his next movie which will be based on a patriotic theme. Vivek Oberoi will be acting and producing a movie titled Balakot: The True Story.

Balakot: The True Story is based on the airstrike conducted by Indian Air force this year when Wing Commander Abhinandan Vardhaman was captured and later released by Pakistan. This movie will begin shooting from this year end, and will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
