Vivegam villain Vivek Oberoi's house searched in connection with drugs case

The Bengaluru police with the help of Mumbai police conducted a search operation at popular Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi's house in connection with the drugs abuse case that has rocked the Kannada film industry. It is said that Vivek's wife Priyanka's brother Aditya Alwa is involved in the case and is absconding.

The Bengaluru police of NCB branch who are investigating the Sandalwood drug scandal procured a search warrant suspecting that Aditya Alva may be hiding in brother in law Vivek Oberoi's house. As of the time of this writing the search was going on from morning and is continuing.

The drugs abuse scandal that has tarnished the image of the Kannada film industry resulted in the arrest of a dozen people including actresses Sanjjannaa Galrani and Ragini Dwivedi. It is also said that over twenty top celebrities are under the NCB scanner in connection with the case.

Vivek Oberoi is familiar to the Tamil audiences after him playing the villain in Thala Ajith's 'Vivegam' directed by Siruthai Siva and produced by Sathya Jyothi Films. He also played Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his biopic as well.
