Vivek Oberoi is looking at one of the most exciting years in his decade long career so far. Since the New Year is bringing him newer possibilities, what with 'Zila Ghaziabad' and 'Kismat, Love, Paisa, Dilli' [KLPD] as his two confirmed releases this year with 'Krrish 2' also wrapping up for a 2013 release, Vivek is keeping his fingers crossed and aiming at a big bang comeback that would once again bring him in the reckoning all over again.

"Yes, this indeed is a purple patch", smiles Vivek, "There are realistic, sci-fi as well as contemporary characters coming my way. I am happy to be catering to different ends of the spectrum. With good filmmakers backing good scripts and offering me good parts in their films, the going is indeed better than ever. I just hope and pray that there is only upwards movement from here."

While is is turning into a quintessential hero with 'Kimsat, Love, Paisa, Dilli' which is currently being shot in Delhi by Sanjay Khanduri of 'Ek Chalis Ki Last Local' fame, Vivek is super charged about 'Zila Ghaziabad' as well. He says, "I haven't worked in a setup like this before. The legendary tales that you hear about this city is phenomenal. When you have stories being told about land mafia, gang-wars as well as kids who play with 'katta' and 'tamancha', it leads to goose bumps. In the age where a 10 year old should be playing with a 'gilli danda', he is happy to wield a pistol and load bullets."

Meanwhile there are also confirmed talks about 'Masti 2' in the pipeline as well as a couple of more films, announcement around which is just round the corner.
