“My character in ‘Uthamaputhiran’ will not speak much. But the audience would sure speak about my role after watching the film,” says Vivek, the inevitable comedian of Tamil cinema, in his typical style.

“One can expect a surprise from me in the movie. I have very little dialogues in the film. Initially I was reluctant to accept the offer. But Dhanush insisted that I should do the movie. Eventually it has come out well,” he says.

“The Censor officials, who saw ‘Uthamaputhiran’, appreciated me a lot. All the credit should go to Mithran Jawahar and Dhanush,” Vivek says, adding “Dhanush is very comfortable to work with. We have recreated the magic of Padikathavan.”

On his part, Dhanush says, “it is a bigger release for me. Hopefully family audience will be entertained. My director Mithran Jawahar has done the movie craftily and hopefully it would rock”.
