Vivek is at it again. The comedian will play the lead role, along with a set of new faces, in a film titled 'Naangu Marai', which will be produced by popular actor Ramki.

"It will be a hilarious entertainer with a social message. Vivek, impressed with the script, immediately gave his consent to play the protagonist. The movie will be directed by a newcomer," sources say.

"Ramki, who recently decided to venture into production, feels that 'Naangu Marai' will be safe bet to give shape to his idea. A formal announcement on the project will be made soon," sources further say.

Ramki and Vivek are good friends for a long time and both have acted together in 'Viswanathan Ramamurthy' and 'Palayathu Amman'. Ramki was popular for films such as 'Senthoorapoovey' and 'Inaindha Kaigal'.
