In the recent press meet for the grand Diwali release 'Kaashmora'. veteran comedian Vivek took a dig on heroines who do not attend promotional events of their own films by giving lame excuses.

While his speech was well received by audience some sections of media reported that Vivek trolled Nayanthara the heroine and one of the main attractions of 'Kaashmora' for not attending its promotional events.

Now the Chinna Kalaivanar has clarified that he never intended to hurt Nayanthara.

He said he intended to convey to the heroines that if they take participate in the promotional events, it will be of great help to producers. He just said that in his signature comical way.

He also said he is a admirer of Nayanthara ever since her debut film 'Ayya' and also pointed out that he has tweeted in favour of the actress whenever she was dragged into controversies.
