Filmmaker Karan Johar recently shocked his fans by announcing that he is going to quit social media platform Twitter in order to make space for some positive energies in his life. He had tweeted, "Making space for more positive energies only and this is step one towards that. Goodbye Twitter!” Soon after this, director Vivek Agnihotri took this as an opportunity to express his haterad towards Karan as he tweeted, "Quitters never win. Winners never quit.”
Passing judgement on Karan's choice related to his personal life, Vivek further wrote, “I believe a genuine person seeking positive energies would leave Social Media completely. Leaving only Twitter because it doesn’t allow hypocrisy or fakeness but staying on Instagram because it gets brands and allows fakeness itself is a negative and screwed-up approach to life.”
Soon after Vivek's tweet, several netizens slammed him for commenting needlessly about someone else's life and many of them even called him out for being jealous. One of them wrote, "Mister calm down, why are you so jealous of his success !?
Make some good movies you will also be successful."
Another one wrote, "I respect ur movies, your talent and also i am right wing supporter but still i think u should focus on your work rather on keep on targetting Karan Johar. He still have more hits than u, i never saw u tweeting this much bfore Kashmir files success, don't let 1 hit get over ur head."
One of the retweets read, "You are a free bee..chamcha no 1, not in favor of KJO but you are too toxic. Always spitting venom get a life wanabee."
