Today is the birthday of actress Kajal Aggarwal.

Right from the beginning of her career to till date Kajal has been acting in Tamil, Telugu and Hind films continuously. Her first Tamil film as a lead heroine is director Bharathiraja's 'Bommalattam'. She had also acted as heroine in a few Telugu films before that. However the blockbuster success of director S.S.Rajamouli's 'Mahadheera' and its Tamil version 'Maveeran' gave her a stronghold in both the film industries. She acted with Karthi in director Suseenthiran's 'Naan Mahan Alla' which turned out to be a super hit. Later she acted with top hero Suriya in 'Maatraan' and Vijay in 'Thuppakki'. The critically acclaimed blockbuster 'Thuppakki' is a path breaker in Kajal's acting career and that made her a most sought after heroine.

At the same time she has acted with Mahesh Babu in 'Businessman' and 'Brahmotsavam' and with Junior NTR 'Birndavanam' and last year's big blockbuster 'Janatha Garage'. She also acted with Bollywood stars Ajay Devgn in 'Singham' and Akshay Kumar in 'Special 26'. To top it all, she played the lead heroine in Megastar Chiranjeevi's 150th film 'Khaidi No. 150'.

This year is so special for Kajal as she has completed shooting for her first film with Thala Ajith which is 'Vivegam' scheduled to hit the screens in August and she is also acting with Ilayathalapathy Vijay for the third time in 'Thalapathy 61' scheduled to hit the screens for Diwali. The success of these two films will make this vivacious actress a force to reckon with in Kollywood.
