The shooting of 'Vithagan', R Parthiban's forthcoming film, is over after the cast and crew shot two songs in Vienna and Czech Republic recently. "Post production works are currently on," sources say.

Starring Parthiban and Poorna in lead roles, the film directed by Parthiban himself is produced by Seventh Channel Manickam Narayanan. Plans are on to release it by July or August.

"Parthiban has played with élan the role of a police officer, who is extremely intelligent. It is a script with enough twists and turns which would make the audience to glue to their seats," add sources.

Parthiban, who is on a hibernation mode for sometime now, is expecting a big comeback with 'Vithagan'. "For that, he has ensured that even minute details are not missed while filming the script."
