While Petta has been censored U/A, Viswasam has received a clean U at the censors.

Now, the latest update on the release schedules of the movies has evoked curiosity of moviegoers. Nikilesh Surya, the executive director of Rohini Silver Screens in Chennai has made a tweet after repeated requests from fans to update on special shows that, the theater management has been waiting for the permission to have 1 am shows, and in case the permission is obtained, all 6 screens of Rohini theater will play Viswasam at 1 am, and Superstar's Petta will be played on all 6 screens at 4 am.

Given this plan materializes, diehard fans of Thala will get their perfect festive treat from their matinee idol, much ahead of Superstar Rajnikanth's fans. Viswasam is a rural mass flick that has Ajith paired with Nayanthara, and has a huge star cast including Jagapathi Babu and Yogi Babu, while Petta is an action thriller that has Rajni paired with Simran and Trisha, besides also having an array of stars like Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Vijay Sethupathi,Bobby Simha, and many others.
