Popular production house Satya Jyothi films made a strong comeback earlier this year, with the Pongal release Viswasam. Released alongside another big budget entertainer Petta, the Thala Ajith starrer directed by Siva turned out to be the biggest blockbuster of the production house.

Grossing more than 150 crores and becoming Ajith's career best, the movie was a return to form for the production house after the mediocre response to their previous production venture with the same Thala Ajith - Siva combo's Vivegam released in 2017.

Currently Satyajyothi films is producing two movies back to back with Dhanush, one directed by Durai Senthilkumar and another directed by Ratsasan fame Ramkumar, and now it there are speculations that their next movie will be directed by Ashwin Saravanan who has scored two hits Maya and Game Over. An official clarification on this speculation is expected soon.
